Additional Details

All warranties start from date of purchase. Date of purchase is defined as the date on the original invoice.

Equipment failures due to manufacturer defect will be, at SOTA’s discretion, repaired or exchanged with replacement equipment of the same type free of charge during the first 2 years of the warranty. In addition, at any time during the first 5 years after purchase, the customer will be able to purchase replacement sensors or components of the same type at special significantly reduced pricing [contact SOTA Imaging for the current pricing details.

Failures will be determined at SOTA Imaging. Evaluation results determine options for replacement or repair.

Free replacement or repaired equipment is under warranty for the remainder of the original equipment’s 2-year warranty or 90 days whichever is greater.

Equipment failure due to obvious equipment abuse, misuse, neglect or improper care, can, at the manufacturer’s discretion, modify the terms or duration of this manufacturer’s warranty.

SOTA Imaging warrants that the products will at the time of shipment be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty will remain in force from the date of purchase (labor warranty not included). The warranty shall not apply to product or parts thereof which A) have been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence, accident or damage resulting from the use of cleaning, disinfecting, or sterilization chemicals and processes. B) to which any modifications, alterations for attachments have been made without written authorization of SOTA Imaging (manufacturer), C) if the x-ray exposure from the intraoral x-ray tube is higher than the recommended dosage during the course of the warranty period, or D) if the products are installed or operated violating instructions for safe use or in a location not free from excessive dirt, dust, moisture, fumes, or extremes of temperature, nor shall it apply to any products or parts thereof which E) are normally consumed in operation. F) The warranties contained herein extend to customer only and are not assignable or transferable.
